Alex' kids party

My little 5 year old has now had his first "real" party with his mates. It was held at an indoor playcentre and he had tonnes of fun. I enjoyed no cleaning, preparation or any kind of responsibility for the party. Simply sat down and had a few coffees with some other parents.

School Holidays means activities....

So today we went bowling. A few tears from Alex of course (it would be strange if he wouldn't chuck a wobbly when it is a competition) but we had a great time! I came last (thank goodness) and so the kids were happy. Alicia the happiest since she won both games we played.

Year 6 Production

I went to see Alicia performing in her ear 6 Production "Dragon.com" last night. It was great! I was very surprised seeing her so confident on stage - a true natural. Couldn't be anymore proud at all really, she is just a gorgeous young girl with an attitude reminding me of her... well, mother!

Farm visit

Alex visited the farm with kinder and had heaps of fun. I did too after two cups of strong coffee.

New Playground

So our old daggy playground just around the corner has finally been updated - so mum and dad, here is the new version!!

The old one really belonged in the 60s didnt it! Finally some PLASTIC TOYS that you dont get splinters off!!

Birthday

James is finally 8 - he has been waiting ever since he turned 7!
